You may have seen the sneaky peeks last week so eagerly anticipated the full post; well here it is!

The Queen Hotel is an exquisite hotel and received lots of oohs and ahhs from the ladies as they all arrived in the morning. It most certainly is unique and a photographers haven; I did not get to use anywhere near as many locations as I had planned, I just kept getting carried away.

The shoot came about by my becoming the recommended photographer for the Queen Hotel, and I wanted to make the most of it by collaborating with a few friends in the wedding industry. It so happened that Debbie from Glamour Bridal in Bolton had a new line of dresses so we used the Queen as the backdrop to show off these new beautiful gowns. Jo from One Beautiful Day supplied the make up talents and Ruth (a new friend) from The wedding Hair Company had fun doing the hair. The flowers were provided by those wonderful girls at Philosophy Flowers.

Martina was our model for the day, she isn’t a professional model but isn’t she gorgeous, just goes to show with a little direction from your photographer you do not need to be a model to get the pose to make you look just fab.

Debbie’s dresses are a new line and unique to her bridal shop alone, you cannot get these dresses from anywhere other than Glamour Bridal & Prom so get on down to Bolton and get shopping!

As usual I hope you enjoy the piccies and comments are always welcome.

So much good stuff Jamie I don't know where to start ... all the close portraits were absolutely knockout, really clever use of mirrors and distortions, some wonderful windowlight portraits (both three quarter and full length) .... but the shots that totally slew me were the reflections and the chair. Brilliant.

I had a peek at these on my phone yesterday and loved them - but seeing them on my computer today they're absolutely breathtaking. The model looks stunning - I love the glamour of her poses, and she has a wonderfully sultry look - fab. The setting is amazing - it's as glamorous as can be. And the images - I'm no expert but they stand out from the crowd. I loved the images below the window; the staircases; the reflections and lighting in every single one. There are only a couple of photographers whose style I'd say was instantly recognisable (to me) - you're definitely one.
