Chester Zoo wedding photography, Lynda & Kevin
We were back at Chester zoo for today’s wedding; we love photographing weddings at the zoo it really is a unique venue and provides so many different locations for photographs. It’s the third time we’ve visited the zoo in the past 18 months or so and it’s been different every time, this time a beautiful Autumn wedding.
Lynda and Kevin are frequent visitors to the zoo with unlimited access throughout the year; so it made perfect sense for them to have their closest friends and family with them to celebrate such a momentous occasion at a place close to their hearts.
No bridal preparations for us this week so straight to the zoo to meet Kevin and the kids. Kevin’s son and best man Ben and Lynda’s two young lads Matt & Chris; Matt having the honour in giving his mum away. It really was a joy meeting everyone again and all being so relaxed and looking forward to the day ahead; maybe not being herded under a tree for pictures but the laughs started again in no time.
Soon it was time for Lynda’s grand entrance with a precession of classic cars….well two but must still be more than usual! Lynda was wearing a beautiful platinum dress hinting the purple theme of the wedding; Tory fell in love with it straight away whilst I busied myself taking photos.
I loved the relaxed ceremony; with tears, laughter and heart felt readings written just for the happy couple. Loving glances met loving glances over vows written by Lynda and Kevin themselves had there been room for Tory I have no doubt she would have been all teary eyed like Terri and Richard’s wedding.
After some fantastic fun filled group shots Tory and I had a fantastic opportunity to take the newlyweds away for a few photos around the zoo, Lynda and Kevin knew places to go we never knew existed! Places we will be sure to go to again at our next venture to the zoo. Often no direction needed as the two so obviously in love exchanged whispers and jokes, a joy to witness.
We later headed back to Lynda and Kevin’s home town of Middlewich for the evenings party and entertainment. Their first dance continued the day’s theme of smiles and laughter, exchanges of affection; and family as their young children and partners joined them for the final few minutes.
Tory and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and enjoyed reliving those moments through the whole post production process, we hope Lynda and Kevin do so for many many years to come.
