He did me proud: the images are gorgeous, so creative and with fabulous attention to detail. And Jamie has the best personality: he’s absolutely professional and can still make you smile with just a glance. Your guests will adore him; you’ll make a new friend; your wedding photos will be timeless and beautiful. Very highly recommended indeed 🙂 Claire

Wedding venue: The Place Hotel
We got married at The Place Hotel in Manchester, almost a year to the day after we met Jamie at a wedding fair in the hotel and won a competition for a Life style shoot. Jamie made us both feel so at ease straight away so much so that before we had left Chester we knew we had found our wedding photographer. Over the year Jamie found out what was important to us and on our big day he made sure he pictured everything important, seeing the images brings tears to my eyes everytime. We would highly recommend Jamie to friends and family. Thank you so much Jamie, you really are a star 🙂 x

We used Vickerstaff for our wedding and honestly can not fault anything about the service and pictures that we received. The service right from the initial phone call to enquire through to after we received our photos was first class. Jamie is a true professional and an amazing photographer with a real passion for his work and a really creative way of thinking about each shot and how to get the best out of every scene. We interviewed several photographers for our wedding before choosing Vickerstaff because their portfolio pretty much blew the socks off all the other companies both in terms of originality and also creativity. If you want amazing photos to remember your wedding with that you never get tired of looking at get in touch with Vickerstaff Photography.
We can’t recommend Jamie highly enough. The photographs of our day were amazing. Most importantly for us though was that Jamie stuck to our wishes and produced the photographs we wanted in the manner we wanted them taken. He was not bossy, always polite, funny and we hardly noticed he was there for most of the day. Which is what we asked for! When we looked at the photos for the very first time, they told the story of the day and all our family and friends commented on how excellent they were. Thanks Jamie for making our day so special and giving us those photographs to remind us of our big day when we get old, lose a few brain cells and maybe forget the odd thing or 2!
Jamie what can I say. After discovering your website, I didn’t know it would lead to me having not only a first class photo shoot, but also gaining a new friend! Your professionalism leading up to and during our shoot of publicity shots for my website knew no bounds, and there was nothing you could not do for me. The route you’d planned for various background shots was genius, and your ingenuity and eye for detail is excellent. You made me feel totally at ease with your humour and knowledge of the camera, which made the time fly by. I just can’t wait to see the results-looking at your past work for weddings, I really am so excited about my portraits! Thanks a million for your talent, I won’t hesitate to recommend you to my friends and colleagues and when I get married, I’m booking you (please!). Claire (violin 4 weddings).
From start to finish, Vickerstaff Photography have been fantastic. Jamie always responded to queries very quickly and was extremely helpful with the whole booking process and leading up to the wedding he made us feel certain we had chosen the right person for the job! His photos are just stunning and on the day everyone said how friendly and professional he was. The whole day seemed to flow really well and even though my husband and I hate having our photos taken we felt at ease with Jamie and thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to his direction and patience. We are so pleased with the photos we have got of our wedding, there are just so many brilliant shots and couldn’t have asked for more 🙂 There is no way anyone would be disappointed with Vickerstaff Photography and we are so grateful that we now have some beautiful photos of our special day to treasure forever. Thanks Jamie! Emma and Nathan
trading opzioni binarie cos/\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'èVickerstaff Photography- A fantastic choice for our wedding! We came across Vickerstaff photography through an internet search for photographers in the Cheshire area. We liked the look of the website so arranged a meet up in Chester. We were instantly impressed with all the examples photos Jamie showed us at the meeting and with his genuine honest persona, we decided to book him there and then for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Jamie was brilliant at responding to my queries via email and helped put me at ease as the excitement and apprehension of the wedding day approached. During the day, he made me feel so relaxed and we had many a laugh during some of the shoots, memories I will never forget. I would rebook Vickerstaff photography in an instant if I could get married all over again. He made the day that even more special and captured all the moments we could have hoped for. Thanks Jamie, I hope we can keep in touch over Facebook cos you are fab! 🙂
http://theharrisongroup.com/news/documents/EmployerHealthViewIssue12007.pdfWe came across Vickerstaff Photography after a lot of research on the internet. What initially jumped out at us were photos from Jamie’s blog of previous weddings – stunning photos. The website is clear and contains all the necessary information – and this clarity continued throughout our communication with Jamie. He was always quick to reply, positive, enthusiastic – a pleasure to deal with. We used Jamie on the wedding day from the church to the first dance and we are so glad we did. He has a great character and is fun to be with, yet also has the ability to organise the guests to ensure the necessary group shots are done. He has a great eye for locations which jumps out at you when you get the photos. We were surprised to receive the photos back so quickly – Jamie clearly continues to use the same amount of energy after the wedding as he does running around on the wedding day itself. I highly recommend Jamie for your wedding photography – check out his blog and drop him a line – you will not be disappointed. Thanks again, Jamie
Professional, organised, appeasing and strives for the perfect photograph! Highly Recommended! After searching various photographers online, we found Jamie’s website via Google. His website gave us all the information we were looking for including what packages were available to cover our wedding day. We opted for a pre-wedding shoot and full coverage of the day, from bridal preps all the way through to the first dance. Right from the outset communication with Jamie was good and he was very quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had about our big day. We first met Jamie for our pre-wedding photographs in Chester. With us both being nervous and new to the concept of having our photo professionally taken, Jamie immediately put as at ease with his friendly character and warming personality. The original plan was to have some photo’s taken around The Chester Cathederal, but on arrival we found that building work was taking place, Jamie was quick to find a solution and found a perfect spot around the Chester Ruins and Grosvenor Park. As the photo’s went on we both realised that ‘this was the man for the job’! The photographs from the pre-wedding shoot were sent to us in a matter of days and we were both extremely pleased with the results. Photos of which we then used on our wedding day to decorate a wedding guest board. If you’re feeling nervous about having your photo taken, we highly recommend opting for the pre-wedding shoot. On our wedding day, Jamie arrived nice and early at our venue to cover the bride & grooms preps, including photos of the grounds, rings, Bridemaids and Groomsmen. Throughout the wedding ceremony Jamie was not intrusive, but not at the expense of gaining the perfect shots. After the ceremony Jamie with his comical sense of humour, assertively arranged the wedding guests to cover the group photos before the guests dispersed to the bar. Once again, throughout the remainder of the day, Jamie subtly snapped away and when possible pulled us away for couple photographs around the hotel grounds (whilst keeping us entertained by narrowly missing the pond!!). Again after the wedding the photos arrived very quickly and were perfect. After showing all our friends and family the wedding photos, everyone was incredibly impressed with the quality of them and commented on how helpful and friendly Jamie was on the day. We highly recommend Jamie. His kind nature, professionalism and enthusiasm is infectious which is reflected by the quality of his work!

From the moment I saw just one of his photos from a previous shoot at The Place Hotel I knew this was the photographer for us! The shots are artistic yet meaningful and not the usual bog standard formats of the old fashioned style wedding photographer. Jamie’s use of light, shade, shadows, reflection and interaction is amazing and has made our photos look and feel extra special and unique to us. As well as being a top notch photographer who is so obviously passionate about his trade, Jamie is a genuinely nice guy. He really made us feel at ease and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is on the look out for someone special to capture their special day

Baby Christening: Grosvenor Pulford
If you are looking for a really talented Photographer with a fantastic eye for detail look no further! We were highly recommended Jamie through our wedding photographer who was not available to shoot our babies Christening day in July 2013. We were given a few photographers to contact but being a Graphic Designer myself I was quite picky with who I went with. I’ve worked with quite a few over the years so I have a good idea of what to look for. It had taken me months to find a suitable wedding photographer and we had much less time to sort a photographer for the Christening and having a six/seven month old baby it was even harder. However from initially looking at Jamie’s beautiful photographs on his website I knew that he had a very similar style to our wedding photographer which from looking at so many out there over the past couple of years it was an extremely rare find. From initially contacting Jamie I found he was both extremely professional and also a genuinely lovely guy. He answered every query I gave him to do with whether he knew the venue, what ideas he had, what we would do in the rain, etc. and he always responded quickly and with a lovely manner. I knew before meeting him we would get on well and he would be brilliant with all the family on the day. He came up with various ways we could capture the day and lots of fabulous ideas for how he could make the pictures extra special and unique. Jamie suggested meeting up over a cupcake and drink which was lovely as it involved gorgeous food, but it also gave us an opportunity to meet him and get to know him personally and also go through any ideas we both had and meet our baby too. From the offset we got on brilliantly and I could see he was brilliant with babies and children – from seeing him with our baby boy and also finding out he regularly photographed around schools so he was perfect! I was left in no doubt from that meeting that Jamie would do a brilliant job on the day and we had made the right choice. On the actual day Jamie had introduced himself to several members of our family and friends and had also captured some beautiful photos before I had even seen him arrive. He did a range of classic portrait pictures as well as some beautiful reportage style shots which were my favourite. Jamie was brilliant with our baby as he fell asleep shortly before we were going to have some photos taken. He was extremely patient which is key when working with a young baby and totally professional throughout. Luckily we were able to wake him up for some photographs outside and Jamie kept coming up with suggestions having already made sure the ideas from meeting him had been done. We were also able to run any ideas ourselves past him anytime and nothing was too much trouble at all. Everyone got on really well with Jamie despite him only just meeting our family so he made them feel at ease within minutes of arriving. It’s incredibly important that they are comfortable otherwise the photos just won’t work. We were delighted to be given a glimpse of the photos he’d taken just days after the event and shortly after we were given a link to the online album. We were thrilled with how brilliant the photographs were and there was a fabulous range of images. Lots of ones I didn’t even know he had taken and beautiful reportage style shots. We were so pleased with the end result and it’s lovely to know our babies special day has been captured to enjoy for years to come. We also are delighted to have met Jamie who we now consider a good friend. Look no further and book him today. He is a true gentleman and a fantastic photographer.
If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, you can do no better than Jamie. Have a look at his website and see for yourself the creativity, craft and love that he puts into his photos. Jamie photographed my wedding two weeks ago and having received our photos I felt compelled to write a review to say how impressed we are. The images are fantastic and perfectly convey the emotion and joy we felt on our wedding day. He organised our photos with a sense of purpose and humour, and knew exactly what he wanted to get the photos we could only dream of. In the lead up to the day Jamie consults you to make sure he gets all the shots you are looking for, but its the photos you don’t ask for that make him special. Jamie is amazing at capturing the little things, the laughs, the tears, and all the wonderful little moments that make you giggle and take you back to your wedding day. It’s after it is all over you realise how important the photographer is and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Jamie to tell the story our wedding.

Thank you Jamie you were fantastic on the day and put a very nervous bride at ease. We were amazed by the photos and by the attention and care you showed throughout the process. Thank you for organising all the group shots and for catching all the reportage photos too but mostly thank you for all the potrait shots of the two of us! As you know we don’t particularly like having our photo taken but you took lovely shots and didn’t make us pose!!! Thanks for editing some of the pictures. We’re really looking forward to seeing the rest of your magic on the album! We hope you enjoyed photographing at the Castle and that you had an enjoyable day (well as enjoyable as work can be!). Thanks!!

We found Vickestaff Photography on the internet and arranged to meet with Jamie. We were very impressed with the work that he had done and had no hesitation in booking him. Leading up to the big day Jamie kept in regular contact, and as the day approached he listened to ideas we had for photographs and provided us with some of his own. On the wedding day Jamie was great, organising everyone for the photographs and putting everyone at ease with his relaxed manner. We were delighted with the CD and album, Jamie has managed to capture the day brilliantly with a combination of traditional and contemporary photographs. They are something that we will be able to cherish forever. Thank you, Sarah and Ben Roberts

Wedding venue: Hilbark Hotel
Vickerstaff photography were highly recommended to us by a friend and it was the best recommendation we had. We got married at the Hillbark Hotel in September 2011. Beforehand, we met with Jamie and after explaining what we wanted, we knew that we were going to have wonderful photographs which would capture the day and we were not disappointed. Jamie placed us and our guests at ease. His organisation skills and eye for detail on the day were amazing, we could not have asked for anything more. After the wedding, it was very hard to choose which photographs should be used in the album and also what type of album we should opt for but Jamie was very helpful and patient. He always answered every email promptly and was very good value for money. We now have a beautiful album of both formal and informal photographs and we are so happy that we used Vickerstaff Photography. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was getting married and we thank them for providing beautiful photographs of our special day. Simon and Louise

Wedding venue: Chester Zoo
Our Chester Zoo wedding 15 Oct 2011. We’d trawled the internet looking for wedding photographers and narrowed down to Jamie and one other. We met both at our house and Jamie won us over with the photos he was able to show us from previous shoots, his knowledge and his manner. It was important for us we’d be able to get on with whoever we picked. We got married at Chester Zoo and the place is particularly important to us so we wanted somebody we could feel at ease with so we had the best chance of the best photos. In the run up to the wedding Jamie was always prompt to answer any questions we had; we provided a list of the main photos we wanted, and also indicated that we had some ideas of particular parts of the zoo we’d like to go to for photos. On the day we also met Tory who was a joy to be with – very patiently holding our drinks and more importantly bringing them back for quick sips between shots! Jamie kept everybody relaxed and that shows superbly in some of the less formal pictures we have. Once the obligatory family shots were done we did some fun shots with our kids and then Jamie allowed us to drag them round the zoo for ages. We had thought we’d be restricted to certain areas due to time etc but were delighted that Jamie had no problems with us just heading off. Every so often Jamie would spot an opportunity and get me and/or Kev to pose and at one such stop where Jamie had taken some pictures of me I made a point of asking if he’d got any pictures of my shoes (I was very proud of my purple shoes!!). At this point Jamie got down on the path, almost lying there to get a good photo to the amusement of the zoo visitors watching! We did get to one of our favourite parts of the zoo, a quiet spot that few people go to, and loved having photos taken there. We also walked round by the flamingoes and chimps. When we got to the chimps there was a keeper due to give a talk; Tory went and had a word and we even got a special mention just before that! By the time we got back to the Oakfield where all our guests were we realised we’d been out for at least an hour and a half. It hadn’t felt that long as the whole thing had been so relaxed; it had just felt like we were out with friends, we were able to be ourselves, we weren’t at all self-conscious (even at wandering round a zoo wearing a long gown!) and even while going round we were still able to get time ‘alone’ together which made up for the time trying to stifle giggles while being told to ‘hold that kiss’! We went back to Middlewich for our evening do and Jamie came back over there to get some photos of our cake and for us to do our first dance. We loved seeing the blog and photos that Jamie published shortly after the wedding and everybody who saw them was bowled over by them. We now also have our CDs and have to find time to decide which of the gorgeous pictures we want for our album. There are just so many lovely pictures it’s going to be a really hard job! Thanks to Jamie for his professionalism and for being such fun to be with. We wanted our whole day to be relaxed and enjoyable and you fitted into that ethos perfectly. I’d certainly have no hestitation in recommending you to anybody

Truly top notch! We originally found Vickerstaff photography on the internet and after looking at his previous work we were sure that we wanted him to take the photos on our wedding day. Throughout the process he was great to work with. He gave us ideas, clear guidance and always replied to our calls and emails without any bother. On the day, he was cool, calm and collected and was very patient and professional with both us and our guests. As a result we have some absolutely fantastic and creative photos of our special day for which we can’t thank Jamie enough.
