Tory and I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph at one of our favourite venues in Cheshire the 4 star golf and spa resort Carden Park.  A sense of excitement is created with the mile long winding drive from the gate to the front door. Magical little bridges dotted along the way are perfect locations to grab some precious moments between the bride and groom.

Sarah arrived at the church with a wonderful smile beaming from ear to ear as dad, Malcolm, had a few butterflies to settle. There was time for a few quick shots in the car before the heavens opened and the well equipped guys from Chester Wedding Cars soon had Sarah safe under cover of their umbrellas.

Banished to the far balcony at the back of the church I had a great view of the Catholic ceremony making sure to use my super wide angle lens to capture the beautiful church in all it’s glory.

No sooner had the ceremony started it was all over and we were all back outside, with only a limited amount of time for a few group shots; we were then off to Carden Park.

A few shots at one of the bridges as the rain lightly drizzled led to one of my favourite shots of the day, the vintage Rolls Royce making it’s elegant way to the venue.

Tory and I had a great day with Sarah and Ben and feel very privileged that they asked us to document their day. We hope you like the highlights of the day.
