OK, time for a biggie. Today’s wedding was one of this years eagerly anticipated weddings for us here at VP HQ. As wedding photographers no matter who books us we always do the best we can for our couples and invest a lot of time and energy ensuring every detail is captured, all the moments are documented, the bride looks beautiful as well as making sure the venue that was painstakingly chosen and decorated looks it’s best and obviously shows the wedding was there.

All of this was true for todays wedding…..times ten fold. It was my cousin’s wedding. Nervous was an understatement and luckily the hotel we stayed in the night before had a pool and a sauna to relax in before the big day.

Stoneleigh Abbey in the Warwickshire countryside is a beautiful wedding venue and a wedding photographer’s dream location. The house; where Queen Victoria once stayed; was a joy to photograph in; last minute restrictions meant we couldn’t use the full house. The grounds that once inspired Jane Austen were more than enough inspiration for little ol’ us to photograph for hours….we didn’t; much to Ed’s delight.

There was so much to capture from sweety trees on the tables, characters of AJ & Ed, a beautiful cake, an amazing stately home, a butterfly theme throughout, love umbrellas as well as hundreds of well thought out little details you could miss if you weren’t looking.

So I’m a little biased and somehow chose a lot of pictures for this weeks blog! So I best stop writing and let the photos do the talking.
