Wedding Photography Brookfield Golf Club, Crewe- Emma & Nathan
Emma has been a friend on Facebook for some time so I’ve been witness to most of the preparations leading up to her and Nathan’s big day. This also meant I saw how upset she was getting after making the mistake of looking at a ten day weather forecast! Knowing that the weather was going to be far from favourable Emma started to get into a slight panic, I think this and the added factor of losing her original choice of venue added to the anxiety which is perfectly understandable so I wanted to make sure she got the photos she really wanted and hopefully some that would be a little special that she had not expected.
I had a great time with Emma and Nathan along with their intimate number of friends and family. It can be a little difficult for a photographer with a small number of guests; as we stand out a lot more so those reportage shots can be a little more illusive to get so I loved & relished the challenge.
The rain that Emma was dreading finally kicked in just as the final group shot had been taken then did not stop for the rest of the day, so to make sure the happy couple got some nice shots we made use of the large windows allowing for lots and lots of light and some uncharacteristic close ups (which I think I will be doing more often!). Emma was such a beautiful bride and looked so natural in front of the camera, oh and Nathan scrubbed up ok to! We finished the day with a few shots out in the rain and then some cheeky snaps of they’re lovely little daughter Layla and niece Alice.
I hope you like the small sample of images from their special day, please feel free to leave any comments and to ‘like’ or ‘share’ any photos that catch your eye.
