Well what a glorious and mild Winter we had this Christmas unlike the last two white Christmases. I usually take a week or so off over the holidays either to go back to Sligo with Tory or to meet with my own family. Tory has no say in where she gets to go and is under strict orders to be home every Xmas!
I decided to have my father stay with me for a few days this year over Christmas Eve through to the bank holiday. After two days of eating it was time to venture out of the house and go for a walk; my dad is a very talented sculptor so I knew he would enjoy Antony Gormley’s figures on Crosby beach so off we went with my trusty Fuji x100 in hand.
Don’t worry I’m not going too much into what I got up to over the holidays I’m really just setting the scene for the images below
I enjoyed the walk so much with my Pop that upon Tory’s return and a rather heavy New Years we thought we would head back to the coast for a wee drive and a few more shots on such a beautiful beach.
I really do recommend you head on out there for a look and a stroll you won’t regret it even if the wind does beat you around the head and shoulders a little.
